APEX Advocacy: Black Vegan Everything – Social Media Intern (paid/remote)

APEX Advocacy is looking for a dynamic intern who is eager to learn about animal advocacy, veganism, and racial equity, by assisting us with one of our major initiatives, Black Vegan Everything. You will be working closely with our team to oversee the Black Vegan Everything website and social media accounts, conduct research to come up with ideas for new content, and take on various administrative tasks.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to learn about social justice, in particular animal advocacy and racial equity, and help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with passionate and supportive team members who encourage new ideas, feedback, and collaboration.
Intern Job Responsibilities:
Understand the overall concept of the organization, including our values, audience, mission, campaigns, and all other aspects of our work
Conduct research and propose new content ideas for Black Vegan Everything
Monitor and maintain the Black Vegan Everything website
Monitor and audit Black Vegan Everything social media accounts
Grow Black Vegan Everything social media community by interacting and engaging with other social media accounts and content
Help and assist with administrative tasks assigned by a supervisor
